Product Review: Love Beauty and Planet | Adanna Daily

Recently, I’ve come across a new hair company called Love, Beauty and Planet. For a while, I had been seeing their ads everywhere like online and on tv and I was even receiving little sample packs with my orders from Ulta. I don’t try new products very often, so I really felt the need to try out their shampoo and conditioner, especially since it was only $6.99 at Target.

About the Company:

Love Beauty and Planet’s top goal is to be good for beauty and give a little love to the planet. This goal has been executed in several ways:

Their bottles are made up of 100% recycled material.

They use fast-rinse technology in their rich conditioners so that we can save water.

All of their collections are infused with organic ingredients, sourced from places all over the world.

They keep track of their CO2 emissions and will tax themselves if they go over their goal. That money will go towards third-party programs that help reduce landfill waste and overall carbon emissions.

Great for all hair types!

Vegan, Safe for sensitive skin

No Animal Testing, No Dyes, No Parabens, No Silicones, No Sulfates, No Guilt!

Love Beauty and Planet has 6 collections that are based on the needs of your hair and body care, such as:

Murumuru Butter & Rose– for blooming color, strength and shine. This collection contains shampoo, conditioner, 2 minute masque, body wash, and a body scrub.

Tea Tree Oil and Vetiver– A radical refresher. This line is supposed to be purifying and offers a deep and satisfying relief and care for your hair and skin. This collection contains shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Argan Oil and Lavender– smooth and serene. This blend should smooth and tame frizzy hair and relax sensitive skin. This collection contains shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner and body wash.

Coconut Oil and Ylang Ylang– hope and repair. Gently nourishes and hydrates your skin and hair. The shampoo, conditioner and benefit oil work together to visibly repair hair and prevent split ends.

Coconut Water and Mimosa Flower– volume and bounty. This shampoo and conditioner set should leave your hair lightly moisturized and leaves fine hair strong and volumized. The body wash and mist will leave you feeling refreshed and it will leave your skin feeling soft and smooth.

Shea Butter and Sandlewood– purposeful hydration. This shampoo conditioner and cleansing conditioner will hydrate and moisturize your hair. The body wash will also protect your skin from dryness.

My Opinion:

First thing’s first. I’m so glad I purchased this product. It’s definitely a hit! I went through all of the collections and was originally going to go with MuruMuru Butter and Rose because my hair is color treated. This line would keep my hair color looking vibrant and fresh. Knowing my hair though, I knew I needed more than that because my hair gets really dry. So, I decided to go with Shea Butter and Sandlewood because it would keep my hair hydrated. The combination of Shea Butter and Sandlewood also has an extremely pleasant scent that drew me in.

After taking out my box braids my hair was feeling really dry, but after shampooing my hair with this product I could immediately feel the difference. My hair was so soft, and my curls were bouncy. It was clear that my hair was taking it all in and really liked this stuff. I absolutely love the conditioner just as much. There’s so much slip which makes it very easy for me to detangle my hair. The fast-rinse technology definitely does work. I didn’t find myself rinsing the product out for too long.

All in all, I really love this product. I already used it twice and I feel like it can be my go to shampoo and conditioner. Eventually, I will try their other collections including their body washes. If Love Beauty and Planet is a company you’re thinking about trying, I definitely say you should go for it. It’s very affordable and you’re likely to find it in most places such as Target, Walmart, and at beauty supply stores.
