Have you ever found yourself in a funk? You don’t feel like getting up, or you’re feeling lazy and uninspired. I can completely relate. It happens to us all, so, no worries! Sometimes you get so unmotivated that you don’t know what to do to get back to yourself. Here are a couple of ideas of things you can do to feel motivated again!
Wake up at a reasonable time
For so long, I’ve always slept until noon , but once I started waking up around 9-10am I realized how much of a disservice I was doing myself by waking up so late. Waking up early is hard at first but it definitely becomes easier. You’ll have more of your day to look forward to and more time to get things done.
Sometimes, the best way to feel motivated is to reflect on how blessed you truly are. Before you get up, say a prayer or reflect on things that you are thankful for. Hey, you woke up this morning! That’s more than enough to be thankful for!
Recently, I’ve gotten into the habit of listening to podcasts. SlayGirl, Slay, Girl Gone Boss, and More Juice are awesome motivational podcasts. They give you the push to tackle life and all of your dreams.
Working out is such an amazing way to relieve stress and give yourself the energy you need. It challenges you and puts you willingness to the test. I find that pushing myself to workout when I really don’t want to (still trying to get better at this) is the best. By the end, I’m glad I got up and went to the gym and I feel more energized than ever.
